COUNSELLING/THERAPY: Attending to clients - individuals, couples and families from diverse populations in India; since 1984

 

PSYCHOSPIRITUAL RETREATS

These retreats are an integration of psychology and spirituality from an Eastern perspective; conducting in India and abroad - Spain, England, Canada and USA; since 1980.

 

WORKSHOPS/SEMINARS

Conducted for families, communities, college staff and students; topics covered are: stress, leadership, psychosexual development, integration, neurology and personal growth, relationships, psychoneyuro-spiritual integration, family therapy, brief therapy etc.; duration - one day to 10 days; since 1980

 

TEAM BUILDING SESSIONS

These were organized to enhance the productivity of the team in terms of the functioning, collaboration, visioning, etc.; these were organized for college staff, religious communities at different levels, school staff; duration was 3-5 days

 

COUNSELLING COURSES

These were counselling sessions for students who have completed Masters in psychology or related field; some were intensive sessions spread over 3-8 days and some were spread out for the whole year.

  

BAREFOOT COUNSELLING COURSES

Some of these courses were also conducted for parents, teachers, professionals, etc. without any background of psychology; the focus was on basic counselling skills to enhance the quality of their communication and relationship.

Talks

Semester at Sea – 2018, as interport lecturer, sailed on a ship with 450 undergraduate students from Mauritius to Kochi as lecturer, consultor; made several presentations to students and staff and conducted meditations.

 

NLP courses – 5 days of each; basics and advanced; 6 courses conducted

 

Brief Therapy – 3 days of each; conducted for psychologists; 4 courses conducted

 

Barefoot Counseling – sessions conducted for parents, teachers without any psychology background; 3 groups for 30 hours each.

 

Xavier Institute of Advanced Counselling – training of professionals covering topics: gestalt therapy, brief therapy, crisis management, couple counseling, psychopharmacology, supervision, group therapy, trauma intervention and psychotherapy,

 

Leadership training programs – 25+ for diverse population of leaders, youth, community animators and trainers

 

Discovering Awareness Retreats – 60+ retreats, 10 days each at Retreat House, Mumbai and around the country
